Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS)

The Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS) is committed to ensuring proper protection of authors’ rights while supporting wide dissemination of published research through open-access publishing policies.


1. Copyright

  • Authors submitting to JACS confirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Upon acceptance for publication, authors retain the copyright of their work.

  • Authors grant JACS the right to:

    • publish the article in the journal

    • distribute the article electronically and/or in print

    • archive and index the article through academic databases and repositories

JACS allows authors to reuse their published content (figures, tables, and parts of the manuscript) in future works, provided proper citation of the original publication is included.


2. Licensing Policy

JACS publishes articles under an open-access license to ensure maximum visibility and accessibility of research.

Unless otherwise stated, all published articles are licensed under:

Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)

This license permits:

  • Sharing — copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format

  • Adapting — remixing, transforming, and building upon the material

  • for any purpose, including commercially

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — appropriate credit must be given to the authors and the journal, along with a link to the license, and indication if changes were made.


3. Authors’ Rights

Authors are allowed to:

  • upload the published article to personal websites

  • deposit the article in institutional repositories

  • share the article on academic networks (ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.)

  • distribute copies for teaching and research purposes


4. Third-Party Material

If the manuscript includes:

  • copyrighted images

  • figures or tables from other sources

  • datasets or content with restricted rights

Authors must:

  • obtain written permission from the copyright holder

  • provide proper citation and permission documents when requested


5. Compliance with Publishing Ethics

JACS follows international standards of publishing ethics and intellectual property protection, including:

  • COPE Guidelines

  • plagiarism prevention

  • copyright protection

  • ethical publishing practices
