Author Guidelines
Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS)
The Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS) is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality research in Computer Science and advanced computational technologies. Authors are expected to follow the submission instructions carefully to ensure an efficient editorial and peer-review process.
1. Journal Scope
JACS welcomes submissions in all areas of Computer Science, including but not limited to:

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Deep Learning

Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs)

Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Multimedia Systems

Cybersecurity, Cryptography, Digital Forensics

Cloud Computing, Edge/Fog Computing, Distributed Systems

Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Data Mining

Submissions must demonstrate scientific originality, technical depth, and clear research contribution.
2. Types of Articles Accepted
JACS considers the following manuscript categories:

Original Research Articles (Full Papers)
-
Review Articles / Surveys (systematic or comprehensive)
3. Manuscript Originality and Contribution
Submitted manuscripts must:
-
Be original and not under consideration elsewhere
-
Provide clear novelty compared to existing literature
-
Include sufficient experimental validation or theoretical proof
-
Be written in high-quality academic English
Papers that contain incremental work with weak novelty may be rejected before review.
4. Manuscript Language
All submissions must be written in English using a professional academic writing style.
Authors are responsible for language proofreading prior to submission.
5. Structure of the Manuscript
A standard manuscript must include the following sections:

6. Abstract and Keywords
Abstract
The abstract must be 150–250 words and should clearly present:

the research problem
-
objective and motivation
-
methods / approach
-
key findings and results
-
major conclusion
Keywords
Provide 3–6 keywords that accurately reflect the research.
7. Formatting and Template Requirements
Authors must use the JACS Manuscript Template.
General formatting:

Font: Times New Roman

Font size: 10 pt

Line spacing: 1. / 1.15

Pages must be numbered

Use clear headings and subheadings
8. Figures, Tables, and Equations
Figures

Must be high-resolution and readable

Numbered sequentially: Figure 1, Figure 2, …

Caption placed below the figure

Must be cited in the text
Tables

Numbered sequentially: Table 1, Table 2, …

Must be editable (not images)
Equations

Must be typed (not as images)

Variables and symbols must be defined at first use
9. References and Citation Style
JACS follows IEEE Reference Style.
In-text citation
Cite references as: [1], [2], [3]
Reference list

References must be numbered in order of appearance
-
Provide complete bibliographic details
-
Include DOI whenever available
10. Research Ethics and Integrity
JACS adheres to the principles of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Authors must ensure:

no plagiarism
-
no fabrication or falsification of results
-
appropriate citation of all sources
-
proper acknowledgment of funding and contributions
-
disclosure of any conflicts of interest
11. Plagiarism Policy
JACS uses plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts must have a similarity index below 20% (excluding references).

Any form of plagiarism will result in rejection
-
Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are not allowed
12. Authorship Policy
All authors must:

contribute substantially to the work
-
approve the final manuscript
-
agree on authorship order
-
ensure correctness of affiliation and contact information
Changes to authorship after submission require editorial approval.
13. Submission Procedure
Authors should submit their manuscript online through the journal website:

Create/Register an account

Start a new submission
-
Upload manuscript file
-
Fill in metadata (title, authors, abstract, keywords)

Upload supplementary files (if any)
-
Confirm submission
14. Peer Review Process
JACS applies Double-Blind Peer Review.
Decisions include:

Minor Revision

Major Revision

Reject
The editorial team may reject manuscripts before review if they do not meet journal scope, formatting, or quality requirements.
15. Revision and Response to Reviewers
For revision submissions:

Provide a revised manuscript

Provide a Response to Reviewers Letter

Highlight all changes clearly
Late revisions may be moved to a later issue.
17. Copyright and Open Access
JACS supports open access publication.
Authors retain copyright while granting the journal publication rights.
