Submit a Manuscript

The Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts in the field of Computer Science and advanced computational technologies. All submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system.

Authors are strongly advised to carefully read the Author Guidelines, Publication Ethics Policy, and use the official Manuscript Template before submission.


1. Before Submitting

To ensure fast processing, authors must confirm that the manuscript:

 Falls within the journal’s scope
 Is written in clear academic English
 Follows the official JACS manuscript template
 Includes all mandatory sections (Abstract, Keywords, References, etc.)
 Has been checked for plagiarism (Similarity Index < 20%)
 Is not submitted/published elsewhere
 Contains a Conflict of Interest Statement
 Contains a Data Availability Statement (if applicable)


2. Required Submission Files

Authors must upload the following files during submission:

Mandatory Files

  • Manuscript file: .DOCX (Microsoft Word)

  • Cover Letter (optional but recommended)

Optional / Supplementary Files

  • Figures in original quality (if required)

  • Dataset / Code link or repository info (recommended)

  • Plagiarism report (if required by the journal)

  • Ethical approval documents (if applicable)


3. Online Submission Process (OJS Steps)

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the JACS website using the following steps:

Step 1: Create an Account

  • Register on the journal website

  • Select the role: Author

  • Complete profile details (affiliation, ORCID recommended)

Step 2: Start a New Submission

  • Log in to the Author Dashboard

  • Click New Submission

  • Select the appropriate section (Research Article / Review / Technical Note)

Step 3: Upload Manuscript

  • Upload the manuscript in Word format (.docx)

  • Ensure the file is anonymized for double-blind review (if required)

Step 4: Enter Metadata

Fill in accurate manuscript details:

  • Title

  • Abstract

  • Keywords

  • Author names and affiliations

  • Corresponding author email

Step 5: Upload Supplementary Files

Upload additional files (if any):

  • high-resolution figures

  • datasets or code links

  • appendices

Step 6: Confirmation

  • Review the submission details

  • Confirm final submission

A submission confirmation email will be sent automatically.


4. After Submission

Each submission will undergo:

4.1 Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial office checks:

  • scope suitability

  • template and formatting compliance

  • language quality

  • plagiarism/similarity results

  • ethical compliance

 Manuscripts may be desk-rejected if they do not meet basic requirements.

4.2 Double-Blind Peer Review

If accepted for review, manuscripts will be evaluated by independent reviewers under a double-blind peer-review process.


5. Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer comments, the editorial decision may be:

 Accept
 Minor Revision
 Major Revision
 Reject

Authors are notified through the journal system and email.


6. Important Notes

  • Submission is free; APC (if applicable) is requested only after acceptance.

  • All communication must occur through the journal system.

  • Authors must respond to revisions within the specified deadline.

  • The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not follow journal policies.
