Submission Checklist

 

Before submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS), authors must ensure that the submission is complete and complies with all journal policies. Submissions that do not meet the checklist requirements may be returned for correction prior to peer review.

A. Manuscript Requirements

☐ The manuscript falls within the aims and scope of JACS.
☐ The manuscript is original, has not been published before, and is not under review elsewhere.
☐ The manuscript is written in clear academic English and has been proofread.
☐ The manuscript has been prepared using the official JACS Manuscript Template.
☐ The manuscript file is in MS Word (.docx) format.
☐ The manuscript includes page numbers and proper section headings.

B. Manuscript Components

☐ Title is concise and informative.
☐ All authors’ names and affiliations are correctly written.
☐ The corresponding author’s email is provided and correct.
☐ Abstract length is within 150–250 words.
☐ Keywords (3–6) are provided and relevant.
☐ The manuscript includes all required sections:

  • Introduction

  • Related Work

  • Methodology / Proposed Approach

  • Experimental Setup / Implementation

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion and Future Work

  • References

C. Figures, Tables, and Equations

☐ All figures are high quality, readable, and properly numbered (Figure 1, Figure 2, …).
☐ Each figure has a clear caption and is cited in the text.
☐ All tables are editable (not images) and properly numbered (Table 1, Table 2, …).
☐ Each table has a caption and is cited in the text.
☐ Equations are typed (not images), properly formatted, and numbered if applicable.

D. References

☐ References follow IEEE citation style.
☐ All references are cited in the text in sequential order [1], [2], [3].
☐ References are complete (authors, title, source, year, pages, DOI if available).
☐ Recent and high-quality sources are included (journals/conferences).

E. Ethical and Policy Compliance

☐ Similarity/Plagiarism index is below 20%.
☐ A Conflict of Interest Statement is included in the manuscript.
☐ A Data Availability Statement is included (if applicable).
☐ Any third-party copyrighted material has permission and proper citation.
☐ All ethical approvals are stated (if the study involves sensitive data / human subjects).

F. Submission Files (Upload Checklist)

☐ Manuscript file (.docx) uploaded.
☐ Supplementary files uploaded (if applicable):

  • high-resolution figures

  • dataset or code link

  • appendices

  • plagiarism report (if requested)

☐ Cover Letter uploaded (optional but recommended).

G. Final Confirmation

☐ All metadata entered in OJS matches the manuscript (title, authors, abstract, keywords).
☐ The submission has been reviewed for accuracy before final confirmation.
☐ The authors agree to comply with the journal’s peer review and publication policies.
