The Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS) is committed to supporting high-quality scientific publishing and ensuring transparency in all publication-related costs.

1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To cover the operational costs of publication (peer review management, editorial processing, DOI registration if available, website hosting, typesetting, and archiving), JACS may apply an Article Processing Charge (APC).

APC is charged only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
No submission fee is required.
No payment is requested before peer review or acceptance.

2. Publication Fees

Local Authors (Iraq)

  • APC: 100000 IQD 

International Authors

  • APC: 50 USD

Note: Fees may vary depending on manuscript type and length.

3. What the APC Covers

The APC supports:

  • Editorial handling and management

  • Peer-review process administration

  • Final production preparation and layout

  • Online publication and journal website services

  • Indexing preparation and archiving support

  • DOI registration (if applicable)

4. Fee Waiver Policy (Discounts)

JACS may offer partial or full APC waivers in special cases such as:

  • authors from low-income countries

  • outstanding research with high scientific impact

  • invited papers

  • conference special issues (if applicable)

All waiver requests must be submitted before final acceptance and are subject to editorial approval.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required only after acceptance.

  • Authors will receive an official invoice with payment details.

  • The publication process will start after confirming payment.

6. Refund Policy

  • APC is non-refundable once the article has entered the final production stage.

  • If publication is cancelled due to editorial reasons, fees will be refunded accordingly.
