Become a Reviewer

The Journal of Advanced Computer Science (JACS) welcomes qualified researchers and academic experts to join our international reviewer community. Reviewers play a vital role in ensuring the scientific quality, integrity, and excellence of published research.

1. Why Become a Reviewer?

By joining JACS as a reviewer, you will:

  • contribute to maintaining high scientific standards in Computer Science

  • support authors through constructive feedback

  • enhance your academic profile and professional recognition

  • receive official acknowledgement from the journal

  • be considered for future editorial board membership

2. Reviewer Qualifications

Applicants are expected to meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • hold a PhD / Doctorate degree in Computer Science or related fields

  • have published research in reputable journals or conferences

  • have experience in academic reviewing or editorial activities

  • have a strong research background in at least one JACS topic area

3. Reviewer Responsibilities

JACS reviewers are expected to:

  • provide objective, fair, and constructive reviews

  • maintain confidentiality of all manuscript materials

  • complete reviews within the assigned deadlines

  • declare any conflict of interest

  • follow JACS ethical review standards

4. Areas of Expertise

Reviewers may select one or more expertise areas, such as:

  • AI, ML, Deep Learning

  • NLP and Language Models

  • Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition

  • Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics

  • IoT and Smart Systems

  • Cloud/Edge Computing

  • Software Engineering

  • Data Science and Databases

  • Networking and Communication Systems

5. How to Apply

To become a reviewer:

Option A: Apply through the Journal Website

  1. Register on the journal website

  2. Select the role: Reviewer

  3. Complete your profile and expertise keywords

  4. Submit your reviewer registration

Option B: Apply by Email

Send the following information to the editorial office:

  • Full name

  • Academic title and affiliation

  • ORCID ID (recommended)

  • Scopus Author ID / Google Scholar Profile (recommended)

  • Areas of expertise

  • Recent publications or CV

6. Reviewer Recognition

JACS recognizes reviewer contributions through:

  • official reviewer certificate

  • annual acknowledgement list

  • opportunities to join the editorial board

  • priority consideration for special issues
